Assignment( ONE-MAN-BANDS)

One of the main element in the ’One Man Band’ short movie is the contrast between the characters. There were three characters in this the short movie which were two one-man-bands and a little girl. In the beginning of the story , a one-man-band who played bass and treble in the middle of the piazza as a street performer. Suddenly, he realized there was a little peasant girl with one coin to make a wish at the piazza fountain. So , he wanted to impress the young girl who just wanted to make a wish ,so that she will give him the money. Unexpectedly , there was another one-man-band competed with him to impress the young girl. This cause the little girl is caught in the middle as a musical duel ensues between the one-man-bands. At last , both of the one-man-bands did not gain the money because the coins accidently drop into the drain. Then , a one-man-bands has to compensate the young girl a violin. There is a strong contrast in this scene , the little girl has a short musical performance then get a bag of coins, yet the two one-man-bands did not get any coins although they perform it very hard. This mean they have to cooperate and not compete each other to gain the coin.
